Hello👋🏾, My name is Kaylan Campbell and I have been a full-time newborn care specialist for the past 7+ years. I’ve been working as a live-in newborn care specialist for all of my families across the United States. Hopefully one day, I will get the opportunity to spread my wings further to reach more families all over the world.
I was born in New York and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and have resided here ever since. Early childhood education and Newborn care has been a part of my life ever since I was a child because the field runs in my family. My grandmother was a long-term nanny and my mother is a newborn care specialist as well. I am proud to say that the generational love and knowledge for the Child care field has been successfully passed down to me and I take that responsibility very seriously. With established connections in the West Coast, I started my career with knowledge and a pediatric CPR certification alone, but with the times changing and parents requesting more than references. I acquired my Newborn/Nanny certificates through ICT Academy and was the first to graduate in my class✌🏽.
To be frank, I love caring for newborns and toddlers. Providing them with the greatest mental and physical care while watching them reach milestones is one of lifes greatest wonders. I am thankful everyday that i get to be apart of those experiences. My top skills are: Patience, having a continuous positive outlook, creating and updating custom plans for the child as they age, excellent communication skills and being flexible to collaberate when the parents have a plan for care in mind already. I do not believe in a “one size fits all” when it comes to childcare no matter the age. Every child is unique and I believe their care should reflect that so with my vast experience, I am capable of safely and efficiently handling whatever comes my way. When it comes to my relationship with the parents, Trust and communication from both sides is key to achieving a sense of comfort and security for us all in the home. Once achieved, my clients are happy and confident in knowing that they will continue being successful with their child even after my on-site care is completed.
